Mary Moses Wettstead, 84, of Oakville Road, died Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Wayne "Douglas" Wettstead.

Born in Dallas, TX, October 3, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Amanda Odessa Williams and McKelvie Moses. Mary was a member of Keystone Baptist Church. She was known for being a "true Texan", avid reader, gardener, her love for the Denver Broncos, and caring for Tebow, the four footed love of her life.

She is survived by her children, Mary Ann VanSwearingen and husband, Denzil of Gladstone, Bryan Edward Johnson and wife, Wilma of Marietta, GA, and Dana Shriver of Palmyra; one brother, Lloyd McKelvie Moses of Brillent, AL; four grandchildren, Michelle Simon-Tomlin, Denzil VanSwearingen, IV, Jazmine Johnson, and Sabrina Young Lukowicz; five great-grandchildren, Marcus Alexander Simon, Samantha M. Simon, Chase Ann Tomlin, Troy Tomlin, and Brooke Tomlin; one great-great-grandchild, Melody Simon; four nieces, Joanie, Janet, Mitzi, and Sonya; step-children, Ron and Cathy Reese, and Cindy Koster.

She was preceded by two sons, John Michael Young, and Mark Randall Johnson; one brother, Floyd Andrew Moses; and two sisters, Martha Alice Rossin and husband, Joe, Sue Moses Ferrante.
