Spout Spring: Mary Louise Grishaw Puckett, 90, of 308 Cedar Cove Lane went home to heaven on Sunday afternoon, December 24, 2006, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the widow of Herman Jones Puckett.
Mrs. Puckett was born in Campbell County, September 22, 1916, a daughter of the late Boldin Hath and Emma Susan Mayberry Grishaw and was a homemaker and member of Spout Spring Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Herman Junior Puckett and his wife, Jean of Spout Spring; three daughters, Dee P. Johnson and her husband, Robert of Richmond, Diane P. Kendrick and her husband, John of Florida, Debbie P. Knight and her husband, Emmitt F. of Spout Spring; 12 grandchildren and one of whom she made her home with, Chris Knight and his wife, Tanya and son, Kaleb Knight; 18 great-grandchildren and a sister, Cecilia G. Ferris of Lynchburg.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cecilia P. Ayers.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 27 at Spout Spring Baptist Church by the Rev. Victor Nas and the Rev. John Muth. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home from today 7-8:30 P.M. and other times at the home of Chris & Tanya, 308 Cedar Cove Lane, Spout Spring.
