Mary Elizabeth (Bill) Jamerson Wilhoit, 88, of Appomattox, died Tuesday, February 14, 2012, in Virginia Baptist Hospital. She was the wife of the late Pascal Devine (Pack) Wilhoit.

Born in Appomattox County, on July 8, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Mary Wooten and Oscar T. Jamerson. Bill was a homemaker and a member of Reedy Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Diane McCormick and Robert Waldo; a son and daughter-in-law, L. Thomas and Janet Wilhoit; four grandchildren, Marie W. Mullins and husband Timmy, R. L. Waldo and wife Julie, Dustin Wilhoit and wife Crystal, and Carla W. Keenan and husband Jonathan; eight great grandchildren, Drew Waldo and wife Callie, Rachel, Noah, and Grace Waldo, Tyler Mullins, Skylar and Mannix Wilhoit and Amy Keenan; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Jamerson and numerous nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Robin Waldo; four sisters, Rachel McCormick, Lucille Jamerson, Gladys Reynolds, Francis Woodson; and three brothers, Thomas, Herbert, and Malcolm Jamerson.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. John Muth with burial following in Reedy Spring Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
