Mary Ruth Arrington Garrow, 90, of Norfolk, VA passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. She was the wife of the late John Franklin Garrow.

Born on May 30, 1933, in Charlotte Court House, VA, she was the daughter of the late David Stokley Arrington and Grace Sams Arrington.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth Wayne Suddith of Norfolk, VA; one grandson, Matthew Wayne Suddith; one great-grandson, Angelo Cash Suddith; one brother, Roy Kenneth Arrington and wife, Shirley of Amelia, VA; three sisters, Shirley Arrington Richardson and husband, Henry of Pamplin, Betty Arrington Noblin of Prospect, VA, and Bessie Arrington Munford of Henrico, VA; and sister-in-law, Patricia Arrington of Disputanta, VA.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Hattie A. Templeton, Lucy A. Simpson, and Faye A. Meredith; and five brothers, Melvin, Ralph, Howard, Paul and Thomas Arrington.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm, Monday, May 20, 2024, at Piney Ridge United Methodist Church with Rev. Eric Hernandez officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
