Mary Estelle High, 69, of Roanoke Rapids, NC, died Friday, July 9, 2021, at her residence. Born in Roanoke Rapids, N.C., on September 4, 1951, she was a daughter of Edna Mays High of Roanoke Rapids, NC, and the late Lloyd High.

She is survived by three sons, Alexster Ansley and wife, Wendy of Spout Spring, VA, Christopher Ansley of Scranton, PA, and John Proctor and wife, Ellen of Wilmington, NC; six grandchildren, Kristen, Jamie, Bane, Keeley, Juliana, and she looked forward to meeting baby Jemma, who is due to arrive anytime; a brother, Joe High; and a sister, Joyce Jordan.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Janice and a brother, Thomas.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Roanoke Rapids, N.C.
