Mary Alice Marshall Baber, 81, of Forest, died Monday, June 27, 2022.  She was the wife of the late Garland Hunter "Pete" Baber.

Born in Charlotte County, Va., on October 9, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Lila Holt and Robert Fletcher Marshall.  Mary was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and retired from Centra Health.

She is survived by one daughter, Teresa Ann Baber of Forest; one brother, William Marshall of Lynchburg; and numerous loving cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Herbert Wade Marshall and Robert Lee Marshall.

A graveside service officiated by Pastor Chad Harris will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 1, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, Concord.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
