Marshall Edward Price, Sr., 82, of Honeysuckle Lane, Pamplin, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in the Woodland. He was the husband of Stella S. Price.
Born in Appomattox, on March 8, 1928, he was a son of the late Jack and Daisy Worley Price. Marshall was a US Navy veteran, a member of the American Legion Post #104, and retired as a mechanic from Lawson Ford after 28 years of service.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Marshall Edward and Deborah B. Price, Jr., Richard Wayne and Norma E. Price, Sr.; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Diane and Robert L. Ragland, Sr. all of Pamplin; five grandchildren, Richard W. Price, Jr., Tracy Owens, Eddie Price, Jarred Price, and Stacie Faust; and a brother and sister-in-law, Curtis H. and Peggy C. Price of Pamplin.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Robert L. (R.L.) Ragland, Jr., one sister and four brothers.
The family would like to express their gratitude to a dear friend, Keith Hamilton and Hospice of the Hills for their care of Marshall.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, January 22, 2010, at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Thomas Bryant.
