Marjorie Webb Morris, 91, of Horseshoe Rd., Appomattox, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, in The Oaks Assisted Living. She was the wife of the late Robert Harold Morris.

Born in Appomattox County, on June 17, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Van Buren Webb and Cassie Myra (Peggie) Wooldridge Webb. Mrs. Morris was a member of New Hope Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher, a children's worker, and was a member of the W. M. U. She retired as the cafeteria manager for the Appomattox County Primary School.

She is survived by a son, Robert Harold Morris Jr. and wife Marsha of Downers Grove, Illinois; two daughters, Peggy M. Profitt and husband Dale of Floyd and Margie S. Geib and husband David of Summerville, SC; six grandchildren, Robert Russell Morris and wife Rachel, Randall Lee Morris and wife Becca, Lara Profitt and husband Robert Wavra, Lynsey Miller and husband Ryan, Valerie Stidham and husband Sam, and Kimberly Gauthier and husband Kent; six great grandchildren, Wynn and Neil Morris, Matthew and Benjamin Wavra, and Zoe and Emery Stidham; numerous nieces and nephews including her sister's daughter, Donna Flick.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Alice Flick.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m., Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Wes Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., Thursday, at Robinson Funeral Home.
