Obituary

Marjorie Sarah Brown Ihrig, 90, of Rt. 3, Appomattox, died Thursday, June 2, 2005 at Appomattox Health Care Center. She was twice widowed her first husband the late Earl Robert Brown and her second the late, Irvin Ihrig.
Born in Ardmore, Oklahoma, March 26, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Walton Tucker and Vallie Cane Tucker. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Wade and Apryl Brown of Benson, Ariz.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis Brown and Carl Yergenson of Redding, Calif. and Vallie June and David Johnson of Appomattox; two step sons, Ron Ihrig of Roanoke and Harold Ihrig of Nashville, Tenn.; a stepdaughter, Rose Thelma Eaton of Bloomfield, NM; a sister, Dorothy Barr of Albuquerque, NM;; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 4, 2005, at Appomattox Seventh Day Adventist Church by Pastor Ron Ihrig.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Marjorie Brown Ihrig Fund, Appomattox Seventh Day Adventist School, 509 Court St., Appomattox, VA 24522.
