Marietta Louise Dubey, born on December 1, 1926, in Wallkill, N.Y. was welcomed into heaven on June 13, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents Rose Mary Ulrich and Samuel Charles Bowden; two sons-in-law, Kenneth Moore and Murray Swanson; two grandsons, Eric Powell and Benjamin Diebel; one brother and two sisters.

Etta was the loving mother to four daughters, Bonnie Moore of Millington, MI, Deborah Powell (Daniel) of Appomattox, VA, Rebecca Swanson of Rocky Ridge, MD, and Jillian Diebel (Thérése Barrette) of McGregor, Ontario. She will be remembered as a fun-loving grandmother by her ten grandchildren, Carey Goldsworthy (John), Rob Moore (Jill), Michael Moore, Jason Powell (Jenifer) Bryan Powell (Amber), Nathan Powell (Jaricia), James Swanson (Kimberly), Krista Thompson (Derrick), Samuel Swanson (Sophia LoSchiavo), and Miranda Diebel; her grandson Eric's partner, Laura Stotz; and 21 great grandchildren.

She was formerly an active member of Bay Port United Methodist Church in Bay Port, MI and attended New Hope Baptist Church in Appomattox, VA. Etta served her country proudly in the US Air Force and retired from McLaren Thumb Regional Hospital as a Registered Nurse.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
