Margaret Bailey (Peggy) Kinney, 87, of Kinney Road, Appomattox, died Saturday morning November 27, 2010 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the widow of Robert P. Kinney.

Peggy was born in Roscoe, Pennsylvania on March 1, 1923 a daughter of the late Peter and Mary Turnesa Bailey. She was of the Catholic faith.

Peggy was employed by the Internal Revenue Service for 36 years as a conferee. Most of her career was spent in Richmond, VA
She is survived by her sisters, Irene Bailey Durnin of Post Falls, Idaho and Elizabeth Bailey Zojac of Cameron Park, California and many nieces and nephews.
According to Peggy's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.

A private interment will take place in the Kinney Family Cemetery on Wednesday December 1, 2010.
