Margaret Ann Coffey St. John, 71, of Snapps Mill Rd., died Sunday, October 19, 2008 at her residence. She was the wife of Lloyd Bennette St. John, Sr.
Born in Campbell County, February 21, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Jesse and Joyce Ritson Coffey. Margaret attended Bible Baptist Church and a retired employee of Thomasville Furniture.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Charles Evans, Sr. of Brooklyn, NY; a son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd and Cheryl St. John of Appomattox; two sisters, Mollie Kirby of Lynch Station and Ammie Keatts of Danville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Betty Coffey of Altavista and Andrew and Sandra Coffey of Madison Heights; three grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth, Lindsay Marie, and Larissa Gayle; a great granddaughter, Layla Marie and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Bible Baptist Church by the Rev. Robert E. Lee, Jr., with burial following in Liberty Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home today (Tuesday) from 6:30 – 8:30 pm and other times at the residence.
