Margaret Wright Bruce, 90, of Park Crest, Farmville, died Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Richard Garnel Bruce.

Born in Crisp County, Ga., on December 19, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Rosa King and Bodie L. Wright. She was a member of New Berlin Road Baptist of Jacksonville, Fl.

She is survived by a son, Billy G. (Nellie D.) Bruce of Farmville; two daughters, Diane (Roy L.) Moore of Dillwyn and Elaine Young of Buckingham; a sister, Gloria Faircloth; a brother, Julius Wright; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Garnel Bruce.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 28, 2019, at Robinson Funeral Home by Pastor Allen Gregory. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
