Malcolm Joel Coleman Jr.
Malcolm Joel Coleman Jr. 57, of Coleman Mountain Rd., Appomattox, died Monday, December 31, 2007 at UVA Medical Center. He is survived by his wife Constance Marie Drew Coleman.
Born in Farmville, Va., January 14, 1950 he was the son of Malcolm Joel Coleman Sr. and Esther Finch Coleman. He was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church, and was owner\operator of a sawmill, wood exporter and real estate investor.
In addition Malcolm is survived by three sons Malcolm Joel Coleman III of Appomattox, Jeremy Watkins Coleman of Madison Heights, and William Thomas Coleman of Appomattox; two sisters, Nancy Coleman Farmer and her husband Ted of Fredericksburg, and Brenda Coleman Kiger of Oakville.
He was preceded in death by one sister Beverly Ann Coleman.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Hollywood Baptist Church, by the Rev. Bob Millis with burial following in the Coleman Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home, Friday evening January 4, 2008, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, and other times at the residence.
