Obituary
Lynn Dale Litchford, 52, of Appomattox, died Sunday, September 9, 2012, in UVA Medical Center after a brief illness.
Born in Lynchburg, on March 7, 1960, he was a son of the late Geraldine Ferguson and Charles Douglas Litchford Sr. He was a member of St. James Baptist Church and retired from Thomasville Furniture.
He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Allen and Shelby Litchford of Concord; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Robert Taylor of Lawton, OK and Cindy and Randy Busch of Warren, OH; nieces, Jennifer Litchford and Malorie Busch; nephew, Gregory Litchford; and numerous aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by a brother, JR Litchford.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. David Brown. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday at the funeral home from 10 -11:00 a.m. and other times at the home of his brother, Allen, 229 Farm Meadow Drive, Concord.
