Obituary

Luther Benjamin Glenn, 66, of Mt. Pleasant Road, Pamplin died Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Centra Southside Community Hospital.

Born in Appomattox County, Va., on March 7, 1952, he was a son of the late Robert Lee Glenn, Sr. and Clemmie Maxwell Glenn McGhee. He was the primary groundskeeper and a lifetime member of Walkers Evangelical Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder for 43 years. Luther was a former employee for the Appomattox County Landfill.

He is survived by two brothers, L. Twyman Glenn and wife, Micki of Madison Heights and Robert L. Glenn, Jr. and wife, Mona Lisa of Pamplin and two sisters, Janice G. Dowdy and husband, John of Pamplin and Rose G. Crabtree and husband, Wesley of Utica, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty G. Reamer.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018, at Walkers Evangelical Presbyterian Church by Pastor Donovan Campbell. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
