Lucy Tyree, 87, of Richmond, died Saturday, May 8, 2010, in St. Francis Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Lloyd Mundy Tyree.

Born in Nelson County, March 14, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Ivanhoe Bugg and Alice Smoot Bugg. She was active in Bethany Christian Church and was a former employee of Standard Drug.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, L. Mark and Judy Tyree of Stephens City; one brother, Paul Bugg and wife, Faye of Appomattox; one niece, Nadine Blakely and husband, John of Forest; one nephew, Hugh Bugg and wife, Linda of Lynchburg; cousins, Mildred S. Johnson of Clifton Forge, Larry Wayne Smoot and wife, Patsy of Lynchburg; and dear friends Linda and Gary Edwards, of Midlothian, Charles and Shirley Stevens, of Richmond.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00p.m., Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Jeff Worley and the Rev. Ben Moore. Interment will be held 4:00p.m. in Amherst Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Robinson Funeral Home (Appomattox, VA 434-352-7111) from 7-8:30p.m.
