Lucy Kitt Campbell, 74, of Appomattox passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2022, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Kenneth M. Campbell.

Born in Clifton Forge on November 13, 1947, she was the daughter of the late William Henry Kitt and Margie Unroe Kitt.

She is survived by two stepchildren, Penny K. Wells and Darrell Kitt and wife, Laurie; three grandchildren, Kenneth Wells and wife, Casandra, Charity Oxner and husband, Daniel, and Beth Ann Kitt; four great-grandchildren, Revan Wells, Owen Wells, Nora Oxner, and Braelyn; two brothers, Jerry Kitt and Mark Kitt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Sue May.
