Obituary

Lucille Marie Amos Wright, 71, of Evington, died Thursday, December 3, 2009, in Trinity Missions of Farmville.
Born in Buckingham County, February 13, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Willie Lawrence Amos and Carrie Burnley Amos Drake.
She is survived by a daughter, Joan W. Chenault and husband, John of Appomattox; step-mother, Florence Richards and her husband, George of Lynchburg; half-sister, Betty Thurston of Earlysville; and step-sisters, Barbara Williams and husband, Floyd of Appomattox and Teresa Poe and husband, Dr. Richard Poe of Lynchburg.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Harris and a brother, Larry Amos.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, December 5, 2009, at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert Millis. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today (Friday, Dec. 4, 2009) from 7-8:30 pm and other times at the home of her daughter.
In lieu of food and flowers the family request that memorials be made to Hollywood Baptist Church, 6564 Hollywood Rd. Appomattox, VA 24522.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Trinity Missions of Farmville and Appomattox Health and Rehab. A special thanks to her friends at Babcock Manor for their loving care during her time with them.
