LUCILLE ANNA CYRUS MULLINS

Appomattox – Lucille Cyrus Mullins, 88, of 2912 Promise Land Road, went home to be with the Lord, Monday evening, November 6, 2006. She was the wife of the late Emery Walker Mullins.
She was born June 10, 1918 in Appomattox County, a daughter of the late Arthur and Lizzie Cyrus. She was a member of Central Baptist Church, a devoted wife and mother.
Lucille is survived by five children, Arthur E. Mullins, Virginia M. Mitchell and her husband Don, Robert L. Mullins and his wife Ruth Ann, Raymond W. Mullins and his wife Bobbie, and Paul R. Mullins and his wife Cheryl; two sisters, Mildred Mayberry and Dorothy Sweeney; one brother, Clayton Cyrus; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters, and a devoted daughter-in-law, Rachel M. Mullins.
Funeral services will be held, 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 9, 2006, in Central Baptist Church by the Rev. Jeff Worley and the Rev. David Chavis. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home today (Wednesday) from 7:00 – 8:30 PM, and other times at her residence.
