Louis Donald Williams, Jr., 51, of Concord, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, September 24, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Laurella Culbertson Williams and their children, Angela Rose Williams and Trey Austin Williams all of Concord; his first wife, Contessa Williams and their children, Louis Donald Williams, III and wife, Beth, Heather Nichole Williams all of Lynchburg, and Randall Scott Williams of Concord; his mother Glenda Speece Welch Nolan Gragg and her husband, Dennis of Concord; two brothers, Jeffrey Williams of Lynchburg and Donald Welch of Wheeling, WVa.; two sisters, Laurie A. Williams and Sheila R. Vernoy both of Rustburg; one grandson, Jackson Scott Williams; and step-brothers and sisters whom he grew up with, Jackie, Theresa, Rosa, and John; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis D. Williams, Sr. and his step-mother, Peg Shields Williams.
Louis was employed by Lynchburg Foundry Intermet Tooling Shop, C & A Tooling, and American Hofmann Corporation. He was a member of Thomas Terrace Baptist Church and a veteran of the US Army and the National Guard.
A memorial service will be held at Thomas Terrace Baptist Church at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 2, 2011 by the Rev. Mark Grooms. A meal will follow for family and friends.
