Obituary
Lloyd Mark Tyree, 59, of Stephens City, died November 8, 2012, in UVA Hospital. He was the husband of Judy Elaine Tyree.
Born in Richmond on August 11, 1953, he was the son of the late Lucy Bugg and Lloyd Mundy Tyree. His 32 year career in teaching accounting began at Reynolds College. He spent the past 25 years at Shenandoah University, where he served as Associate Dean of the Byrd School of Business, during the past five years of his career. He obtained his Doctorate in Higher Education from the University of William & Mary.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two uncles, Paul Bugg of Appomattox, and Larry Smoot and his wife Patsy of Lynchburg; and one aunt, Mildred S. Johnson of Clifton Forge.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 10, 2012, at Robinson Funeral Home, by the Rev. Jeff Worley, with a visitation one hour Prior to the service. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Amherst Cemetery.
