Lizzie Webb Jamerson, 90, of Forest Chapel Rd., Pamplin, died Sunday, September 25, 2011 in Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Claude Alfred Jamerson.
Born in Appomattox County, on October 24, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Mamie Beasley Webb and James Adam Webb. Lizzie was a member of Madisonville Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and David Harvey of Rustburg; four grandchildren, Marissa Fleshman and husband, L. D., Kevin Ranson and wife, Teresa, Nathan Ranson, and Adrian Ranson; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Cassie and Garland Jennings of Richmond; and a son-in-law, Burley Harris of Evergreen.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sue J. Harris and a brother, Donald Webb.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at Madisonville Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Kim Jeffreys.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home today, Monday, September 26, 2011 from 7-8:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Madisonville Presbyterian Church.
