Linda Sue Waller, 58, Spout Spring, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 24, 2008. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leo Damian Machak and her parents, George and Iris Waller.
She is survived by her brother and his wife, John P. Waller and Laura; her step-daughter, Jessie and her husband Ben Footer; and step-grandson, Kaden and many loving friends from all walks of life.
Linda was retired from B&W where she worked in Information Technology and many aspects of engineering. She cared for and loved all kinds of animals. Linda pursued enthusiastically her hobby of competitive pistol shooting including winning three state championships. She was certified pistol instructor, and a member of the NRA.
A celebration of Linda's life will be conducted by Rev. Christine Payden-Travers at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Timberlake Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 20261 Lynchburg Hwy., (located across from Wildwood and the 7-Eleven on Rt. 460).
A reception will be held at the church following the service to allow time for family and friends to visit and remember the joy and laughter Linda brought into our lives.
