Linda Louise Paulette, 77, of Appomattox, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Tate Springs Health and Rehabilitation.

Born on April 7, 1947, in Lynchburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Wilson Paulett and Louise Garrett Franklin.

Linda was a loving mother to her children. She is survived by her daughter, Marsha Cheatham Ballowe; three grandchildren, Corey May (Cara), Thomas Ballowe, and wife Holly, Brittney Holaday and husband, Mark; five great grandchildren Logan, Levi, Landon, Duke and Penelope; one sister, Charlotte "Charky" Paulette; one brother-in-law, Charles Martin Bub; numerous nieces and nephews; and her caregiver, Heather Cheatham.

She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Lynn May; her son-in-law, T.W. Ballowe; her brother, Calvin Jackson Paulette; and two sisters Janice P. Seay, and Dorothy "Dottie Beck" P. Bub.

A funeral will be held at 2pm, Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Rough Creek Presbyterian Church officiated by Rev. Dr. Bill Crystal. Burial will follow in the Rough Creek Presbyterian Cemetery.
