Linda "Susie" Meadows King, 72, of Pamplin, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 18, 2022.

Born in Lynchburg, on January 30, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Virginia Williams and Joseph Lyle Meadows. She was a member of Piney Ridge United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Alan King of Pamplin; her daughter, Jennifer L. King of Lynchburg; brother-in-law, John Edwards; nieces and nephews, Robert Lewis, Jr., William B. "Ben" Lewis, Kimberley Burke, James Lewis, Jane Cary, Johnny Edwards, and Janet Tuck; and a special little brother, Roger Guill and wife, Wendy Archer Guill.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Naomi Edwards and Barbara "Bobbie" Lewis, and brother, Vic Meadows.

A funeral service will be held 11 am, Monday, August 22, 2022, at Piney Ridge United Methodist Church with Rev. Eric Hernandez and Rev. David Drinkard officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church from 10 am until the time of the service.
