Linda Lee Litchford McFadden, 74, of Richmond Highway, Gladstone, died Saturday, July 15, 2017, in Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the loving wife of Emmett E. McFadden, Sr. for 56 years.
Born in Lynchburg, Va., on December 19, 1942, she was a daughter of the Carol Dawson Bowen of Lynchburg and the late James Lloyd Litchford, Sr.
She is survived by five sons, Emmett E. (Butch) McFadden, Jr. of Rustburg, Timmy McFadden and wife, Donna of Lynchburg, Richard McFadden and wife, Brenda of Rustburg, Robert McFadden and wife, Tina of Gladstone, and Johnny McFadden of Rustburg; a daughter-in-law, Holly McFadden of Lynchburg; five sisters, Ann Tyree of Gladstone, Diane Litchford of Rustburg, Sandra Childress and husband, Everette of Madison Heights, Penny Henry of Lynchburg, and Wanda Fowler of Roanoke; two brothers, James Lloyd Litchford, Jr. and wife, Betty of Amherst and Mitchell A. Litchford and wife, Roxanne of Lynchburg; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry L. Litchford and Michael W. Litchford and a sister, Jean Stinnett.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at Robinson Funeral Home by Pastor Carroll Martin. Burial will follow in the McFadden Cemetery, Gladstone.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, July 17, 2016 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. and other times at the home of Robert and Tina McFadden, 367 White Lane, Gladstone.
