Obituary
Leslie "Bo" Wells Durie, 77, of Roberts Ave., died in Lynchburg General Hospital Saturday, January 17, 2009.
Born in Appomattox Co., December 18, 1931, he was the son of the Winthorp S. Durie and Dora Belle Godsey Durie. He attended Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church and Red Oak Baptist Church.
He is survived by a brother Harry (Dumplin) Durie of Oakville; a sister Evelyn D. Reynolds of Lynchburg, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at Robinson Funeral by the Rev. Bob Thorne.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church 4901 Oakville Rd. Appomattox, VA 24522, or Red Oak Baptist Church 102 Cone St., Appomattox, VA 24522.
