Leslie Anne Agee, 51, formerly of Evington, passed away in Decatur,
Alabama on Saturday, November 10, 2012, surrounded by family. She was a dedicated U.S. Army wife and traveled the world in support of her husband of 24 years, Colonel (Retired) Edward E. Agee Jr. formerly of Appomattox.
Born August 23, 1961 in Washington, DC, she was a daughter of the late Richard H. Granzow and Katherine A. Hodges. Leslie's most important legacy is that she was loved by many people whose lives were touched by her bright spirit.
Other survivors include two sons, Adam R. Hudson of Manhattan, Kansas and Edward E. Agee III of Florence, Alabama; One daughter, Elizabeth J. Agee of Nashville, Tennessee; Two brothers, Richard Granzow and Chris Martin; One sister, Melody Oakley, all of Evington; In-laws are Earl and Winnie Agee of Bedford, formerly of Appomattox.
A graveside service for Leslie will be held at Liberty Cemetery in Appomattox, Virginia on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. David Henderson of Bedford Baptist Church officiating.
The family would like to thank Leslie's physician Dr. Paul Dang of Huntsville, Alabama and his nurses and staff members who rendered Leslie outstanding and compassionate medical care.
