Billy Larry Coleman, 59, of Spirit Lane, Spout Spring, died Saturday, May 2, 2015. He was born in Lynchburg, Va., on January 17, 1956, a son of Billy C. Coleman of Appomattox and the late Mildred Mann Coleman.
Larry was a member of Liberty Chapel Baptist Church and the owner and operator of Larry Coleman Logging Company for many years.
In addition to his father he is survived by a son, Coy Coleman and wife, Amber of Appomattox; a daughter, Dayon Coleman of Lynchburg; a step-daughter, Kelly Garrett of Appomattox; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dianne and Jeff Daulton of Spout Spring and Sharon and Brian Smith of Appomattox; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and special friend, Nancy Terry
The family would like to express their gratitude to Nancy Terry, Freddy Gunter, and to Centra Hospice of Farmville for their care of Larry during his illness.
A graveside funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2015, in Liberty Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery by Chaplain Steve Flowers. The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home Monday from 3 until 5 p.m.
