Larry "Worm" Arnold Grubbs, 72, of Spring Mill Road, Concord, died Saturday, May 21, 2022, at his residence.  He was the loving husband of Esther Evans Grubbs.

Born in Campbell County, January 17, 1950, he was a son of the late Della Doss and Alfred Lewis Grubbs, Sr. Larry served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jesse David "J.D." Grubbs and wife, Wendy of Concord; two brothers, Alfred Lewis "Al" Grubbs, Jr., of Appomattox, and Gary Carroll and wife, B.J. Grubbs of Concord; one sister, Della G. Williams of Gretna; and two grandchildren, Cheyenne and Cameron.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Gayle Grubbs.

A private funeral service will be held.
