Obituary

Kermit Hayden Campbell, 89, of Red House Road, died Saturday, December 26, 2020.  He was the loving husband of the late Rosa Goin Campbell.

Born in Nelson County, October 3, 1931, he was a son of the late Sallie Perkins and William Campbell.  Kermit was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.  He retired from B&W as a maintenance and electrical supervisor.

He is survived by two sons, Ronald Hayden Campbell and wife, Ellen of Boydton and Gary Dale Campbell and wife, Donna of Minooka, IL; one sister, Frances Beard of Amherst; four grandchildren, Megan Kidd and husband, Chad, Morgan Campbell, Mandy Campbell and husband, Eric Dick and Sally Harder and husband, Brian; three great-grandchildren, Peyton Campbell, Aiden and Wyatt Harder.

He was preceded in death by one brother Tillman Campbell.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday December 30, 2020 at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Rusty Small officiating.
