Obituary
Kenneth Lee Franklin, 56, of Central Church Rd, Appomattox, died Friday June 11, 2010, at his home. He is survived by his wife Lisa Dunbar Franklin.
Born in Lynchburg on March 15, 1954, he is the son of Thelma Bryant and James Franklin, of Appomattox. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by his son, Anthony Chadwick Franklin; two daughters, Toni Lynn Ranson and Cary Roxanne Callahan; a sister, Alice Faye Burks and her husband, James of Appomattox; and five grandchildren, including Abigal Ranson.
According to Kenneth's wishes he will be cremated and there will be no service or visitation. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to New Hope Baptist Church, 6227 Old Courthouse Rd., Appomattox, VA 24522.
