Kenneth H. Earley
Appomattox: Kenneth H. Earley, 72, of 588 Church St., died Saturday, May 6, 2006 in McGuire's VA Hospital. He was the husband of Mae P. Weakley Earley.
Born in New Jersey, July 2, 1933, he was a son of the late Russell and Beatrice Holstrom Earley. Kenneth was an Army Veteran, an Evangelical minister, a member of the Eastern Cherokee tribe and a retired employee for DuPont.
In addition to his wife Mae, he is survived by a son, Joel Earley of NC; two daughters, Katrina Pontius of OH and Heidi Earley of NJ; a nephew, Ronald Earley, Jr. of SC and four step-children, Martin Thompson of Pamplin, Sheila Schmidt of MI, Teresa Ramsey of Phenix and Rhonda Mayberry of Appomattox. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Earley, Sr.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Jerry Childress. Burial will follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Farmville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7-8:30 pm and other times at the residence.
