Kenneth C. "Kenny" Canody, 83, of Madison Heights, died Thursday, November 25, 2021. He was the husband of the late Barbara J. Canody.

Born in Washington, DC, September 23, 1938, he was a son of the late Inez Wright and Roy Cavalier Canody. Kenneth was a member of Elon Baptist Church where he was a former Deacon. He retired from Heritage High School where he was an Earth Science, Biology and Drivers Ed teacher. Kenny was a dedicated school teacher, especially teaching kids with hands on practical learning.

He is survived by one son, Boyd Canody and wife, Carla T. of Concord.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Canody.

A memorial service will be held 5 p.m., Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Elon Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Tyree and Pastor Barry Tucker officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
