Kathy Tuck Meador

Kathy Tuck Meador, 71, of Concord, VA, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2026, at the University of Virginia Medical Center. She was the devoted wife of Kenneth Lee Meador for 48 years.

Born in Lynchburg, VA, on September 26, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Virgilia Moore and Henry Edgar Tuck. Kathy was a member of Trinity Methodist Church. She retired from BB&T to become a full-time grandmother. Kathy loved fishing and trips to Nags Head, NC. Kathy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Derrick Meador and Bethany, and Nick Meador and wife, Brandy; four grandchildren, Gage and Felicity, Makinnley, Cole and Julie, and Brody and Maddy; one great-grandchild, Everly “ButterBean”; her special sister, Sue Doss; one nephew, Robert Tuck and wife, Cheryl; and one niece, Michelle Moore and husband, Kevin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Tweedy and wife, Betty, and Wayne Tuck and wife, Joanne.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Trinity Methodist Church, officiated by Pastor Wyatt Cudd. Burial will follow in Trinity Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Robinson Funeral Home.
