Julie Lynn Soper, 38, of Dillwyn, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023.  She was the wife of Christopher Adam Soper.

Born in Meyersdale, PA, October 5, 1984, she was a daughter of Nancy M. Abbott and Scotty A. Herring, Sr.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by four children, Lucas Dunkle, Delton Dunkle, Waylon Dunkle and Skylin Soper; brother, Scotty A. Herring, Jr.; nephew, Lyric Abbott; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Mae-Marie Herring; and her unborn child.

A funeral service will be held 4 pm, Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Genne Riffey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm, Thursday, September 21 in the church.
