Julie Gryder Mello, 57, of Forest, died Tuesday, November 7, 2023.

Born in Lynchburg, May 20, 1966, she was a daughter of Shirley Nash Gryder and Stamie Eugene Gryder.  She graduated from the University of Virginia with a Nursing Degree.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, John Cameron Mello and wife, Andie and their son, Waylan and Jennifer Lee Mello and fiancé, Wesley Minder; one sister, Tonya Gryder Peters and husband, Donald; niece, Melissa Carver and husband, W. Lyle Carver; and nephew, Michael Viar and girlfriend, Brittany Ennis.

A graveside service will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Centenary United Methodist Church Cemetery with Ms. Nancy Carwile officiant.
