Julia O'Brien Wooldridge Moore

Julia O’Brien Wooldridge Moore, 88, of Madison Heights, VA, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2026, at her son’s home. She was the loving wife of Jospeh Cade Moore.

Born in Lynchburg, VA, on October 22, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Nellie Carson Wooldridge and Aubrey Jett Wooldridge. Julia was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She loved her family and quilting.

She is survived by three sons, Calvin D. Moore, Steven W. Moore and wife, Barabara, and Charles “CT” Moore and wife, Jennifer; four grandchildren, Sharon Ware and husband, Daniel, Jospeh Moore and wife, MaeMae, Christian Moore and Fiancée, Garris, and Sarah Johnson and husband, Breon; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lillie Matthews, Joyce Cheatham, and Nancy Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Bernard Moore, Kenneth Moore, and Carlton “Bobo” Moore.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at the Moore Family Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Bridgett Baker-Ihaza.
