Joyce Gail Tolley, 80, of Pamplin, VA, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the University of Virginia Hospital.

Born in Ronceverte, WV, on March 29, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Edith Mann Tolley and the late Otto Hunter Tolley Sr. Joyce was an active lifelong member of Piney Ridge United Methodist Church. She was the owner and operator of Tolley's market in Pamplin for 35 years where she was a devoted boss and impacted many young lives. Joyce loved sports of all kinds and attending Hokie games with her family.

She is survived by one sister, Mary E. Tolley; four nieces and nephews, Tim Tolley and wife, Robin, Chris Tolley and wife, Donna, Darren Tolley and wife, Sarah, Kellie T. Carter and husband, Ralph; eight great nieces and nephews, Hunter Tolley, Dylan Tolley, Patrick Tolley and wife, Kaitlyn, Peyton Tolley, Bryant Tolley, Kayla Carter Holt and husband, Garrett, Justin Carter, and Kristen Lakes and husband, Jeremy; and seven great-great nieces and nephews, Ira, Elijah, Ava, Olive, Wyatt, Jack, and Garnett; and a special niece, Dawn Tolley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Otto H. "Sonny" Tolley Jr.

A funeral will be held at 11 am, on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Piney Ridge United Methodist Church, officiated by Pastor Eric Hernandez. Burial will follow in Piney Ridge United Methodist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm, on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Robinson Funeral Home and at other times at her residence.
