Obituary
Joseph Lecco passed away unexpectedly on April 27th, 2021. He was the son of Allen Lecco of Appomattox, born on June 14th 1992.
He is also survived by two sisters , Lorie Sweeney Dischner and Elizabeth Vaughn , his mother Jane Clark, his paternal grandmother Frances Lecco, and his maternal grandfather Richard Rutherford.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Aleck Lecco and his maternal grandmother Linda Rutherford.
Joe was a graduate of Appomattox high school who loved sports, especially football, baseball, and hockey as well as many types of music. He was a member of the Appomattox Raiders football team and wrestling team.
A funeral service and Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30am on July 10th at Our Lady of Peace Church , 3938 Oakleigh Ave , Appomattox Va. All are Welcome - Food and refreshments will be provided following the service.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the; Joseph Lecco Memorial College Scholarship Fund at P.O. Box 2197 Appomattox VA 24522.
