Joshua William Judy
Joshua William Judy, 17, of Evergreen, passed away November 26, 2016 following a motor vehicle accident. He was born on December 22, 1998, in Raleigh, N.C.

Joshua was a senior at Appomattox County High School and was in the dual enrollment program at Central Virginia Community College. He was a member of the National Honor Society, the Future Business Leaders of America, and was a catcher/infielder on the Appomattox County High School baseball team.

He was a member and an acolyte at St. Anne's Episcopal Church and a member of the St. Anne's Saints Relay for Life team.

Joshua is survived by his parents, Pamela and Thomas Judy; three aunts, Brigid Busa, Meghan Beard and her husband, Eric, and Heidi Sloan and her husband, Rodney; four cousins, Alexandra, Zachary and Christopher Busa, and Caitlyn Sloan; and a host of friends and teammates.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, December 2, 2016, at New Jerusalem Baptist Church by the Rev. Dr. John Boucher.

The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home on Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 6-8:30 p.m. and other times at the residence.
