Obituary
Josephine Walker Walton, 75, died Thursday, October 18, 2007 in Prince William Hospital, Manassas.
Born in Oakville area of Appomattox County, July 24, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Walker Scott and Nell Davis Walton. Josephine graduated from Appomattox County High, attended Ferrum Junior College and was a lifetime member of Salem United Methodist Church. In 1974, she moved to Arlington where she has lived for the past 33 years with her sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Wilmer Kerns. She was a gifted seamstress and spent many hours creating beautiful handwork.
She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Winston Walton and his wife, Glenice of Spout Spring; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley W. and Wilmer Kerns of Arlington and seven nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 21, 2007 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Greg Mayhorn. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
