Joseph B. McMillan, 94, of Lynchburg passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Mae Morrell McMillan.

Born on December 13, 1930, in Coalwood, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Monroe Jess McMillan and Ola Booker McMillan. Joseph was a member of Indian Hill Church. He proudly served his country during the Korean War as a member of the United State Marine Corps.

He is survived by his daughter, Terry McMillan Harbour and husband, Dean of Lynchburg; two grandchildren, Kevin Harbour and wife, Samantha, and Cory Harbour and wife, Ashley; and three great-grandchildren, Kaden, Laken, and Luke.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

A funeral service will be held 11 am, Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Indian Hill Church with Pastor Jim Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
