Joseph R. McFadden, Sr.
Pamplin: Joseph Rudell McFadden, Sr., 61, of Rt. 1, died Monday, March 27, 2006. He was the husband of the late Lula Vivian Wilson McFadden.
Born in Appomattox Co., June 3, 1944, he was a son of the late Elijah H. and Edith Ferguson McFadden. Joe was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
He is survived by two sons, J. R. McFadden, Jr. and his wife, Vicky and Thomas E. McFadden both of Appomattox; two brothers, Clyde T. McFadden of New London and Herbert A. McFadden of Appomattox; three sisters, Betty Lucado, Pat Elliott, and Faye Lewis all of Appomattox and eight grandchildren, Joey, David, Becky, Jonathan, Matthew, Stephen, Jared, and Angel.
A grandson, Jacob Scott McFadden preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 30, 2006 at Robinson Funeral Home with burial following in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7-8:30 pm.
