John Morgan Harris, Jr., 75, of Gladstone passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at his residence.

Born in Farmville on August 2, 1949, he was the son of the late John Morgan Harris, Sr. and Margie Dunning Harris. John was a truck driver who drove for numerous different trucking companies as well as for himself during his career.

He is survived by three children, Portland Harris, John Morgan Harris, III, and Amber Harris; five grandchildren Matthew, LeAnne, Travis, Katie, and Kali; brother, Roger Harris; and devoted friends, Nancy Harris and Stephen and Tamara Toney.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Renita and Varalyn; and a brother Bobby.

There will be no service held per John's request.
