Jimmy Patterson Moore, 76, of Concord, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023, at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Linda Lowe Moore.

Born on June 7, 1947, in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Colena Drinkard and John Patterson Moore. He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church. Jimmy was a retired superintendent for J.E. Jamerson and Son. He proudly served his country in Vietnam as a Sergeant in the United States Army.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one brother, Jerry Allen Moore and fiancé, "Cookie" of Concord; sister, Sandra M. McCormick of Concord; two brothers-in-law, Roger Almond of Concord and John Lowe, Sr., and wife, Mary of Rustburg; six nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty M. Almond.

A graveside memorial service will be held 11 am, Saturday, July 22, 2023, Trinity Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Randolph Martin officiating.
