Obituary

Appomattox: Jessie Frances Harvey Martin, 86, died December 21, 2006 at Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge, while visiting her daughter.
Born in Appomattox County, January 31, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Bennie and Margaret Harvey of Evergreen. She was married to Samuel Hubert Martin, who passed away, November 6, 1979.
She spent part of her adult life with her family in Greenbelt, MD and Woodbridge, returning to Appomattox in 1965 with her husband. She was an accomplished seamstress and a loyal member of Memorial United Methodist Church. She was devoted to her family, relatives and many friends.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward, Millard, and Herman Harvey; a sister, Vivian Ann Guill; and three nephews, Wilson Harvey, E. W. Lucado, and Mark Harvey.
She is survived by her daughter and her husband, Donna and Freddie Pattie of Dumfries; stepdaughter and her husband, Annie and Rodney Roach of Lovingston; her grandchildren, Chad Pattie, Joye Novellino both of Dumfries, Lynn Fabyanic and husband, Ski of Mineral, Sharon Campbell and husband, Paul of Faber, and Ann Marie Folsom of Shipman; her great grandchildren, Brett Carter, Katie and Chris Campbell, Rebekah, Kevin, and Zac Folsom, and Bailey Novellino; a sister, Virginia Lucado and two sisters-in-law, JoAnn Harvey and Avis Harvey.
Funeral services will be held 3:30 pm, Saturday, December 23, at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Bruce Johnson with interment following in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7-8:30 pm.
