Obituary

Jeremiah Lee "Wheezy" Tyree, 17, of Appomattox, died Friday, November 3, 2023.

Born in Lynchburg, November 4, 2005, he was a son of Solana Grace Gonzalez and her husband, Jonathan and Troy Tyree and his wife, Tina. Jeremiah was a member of Bethel Bible Church.  He loved outdoor activities, hunting, fishing, and camping.  Jeremiah served his community by helping anyone he could in any way he could.  His smile was sweet and contagious.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Isaiah Daniel Tyree, Judah Mason Gonzalez, Noah Santana Gonzalez, Eliana Grace Gonzalez, Jeremiah John Gonzalez, Haili Anouri Gonzalez, Jeremiah Thomas Johnson, Matthew Manning, and Kaleb Tyler Johnson; grandparents, Deborah and Richard Tyree and Evelyn and Jeffrey Mason; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Joziah Cruz Gonzalez.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Robinson Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2023, in Old City Cemetery with Pastor Orville Gregory, III, officiating.
