Ocala, Florida - Jeanne Cheatham Stanley, 91, of Ocala, Florida, died Thursday, December 3, 2020, following a short illness in the Legacy Hospice Home.

Born in Evergreen, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Zack and Mayme Cheatham.  Proceeded in death are her husbands Harry Byrd Stanley, John Battocletti, son William Elliott Stanley and brother James Elliott Cheatham.

She is survived by her daughter Jan Stanley Comer (Tom) and their two children William Michael Comer (Jessica) and Amanda Comer Freeze (Tyler), two great grandchildren, Noah and Rhett, niece Nan Cheatham Edwards and nephew Zack Hudson Cheatham.

Jeanne is well known for the owner and founder of Jeanne's Restaurant and a love for travel.  She resided in the retirement village of "On Top of the World" where she loved belonging to many of the clubs such as "The Southern Club" where she was known for her bread pudding.

Graveside services will be held after Christmas at the Evergreen Cemetery in Evergreen, Virginia.  In lieu of flowers any contributions can be made to Legacy House, 9505 SW 110 ^th Street   Ocala, FL  34481.
